Nature took MILLIONS of years to make Earth, (no nonsense of 1 week & took rest on SUNDAY) a much more HOSPITABLE place & we HUMAN only TOOK less than 100 YEARS to REVERSE it BACK! Years of deforestation...nature did warn us. It had happened in the past though on a smaller scale... WE human will only wake up only when we are forced to.
BACK TO GOD:
If God exist then he has made MAN in his OWN IMAGE & LEFT LONG AGO (Kaliyug – he does not come down to earth when man calls him like earlier, no he does not give the PHYSICAL DARSAN)... this DISASTER is our OWN MAKING so....let us NOT blame God...because God didn’t INSTRUCT us to cut down the TREES & DIVERT THE RIVERS for our greedy ends. WHY, WE CUT-OUT THE ‘DEVI’S’ IDOL WHICH WAS HALF MERGED INSIDE THE EARTH (((mother Earth is nothing but LAKSHMI as per Hindus – basically the God’s & Devi’s Hindus worship REPRESENT THE NATURE – that is what Hindu religion teaches us to RESPECT NATURE – how true it HAS TURNED OUT TO BE NOW. The moon is called the brother of Lakshmi -Earth; a brother is always there next to the sister to help. Scientifically if the moon did not exist human or life on earth would not have been possible – I will write on this some other time as it is too long))) to make WAY FOR THE DAM!
NOW it is time to give some thought to how to REBUILD:
FIRST the CENTRAL GOVERNMENT should arrange for the ELECTRICITY FROM THE CENTRAL GRID for States like Chhattisgarh & other states in Himalayas where in building of ‘DAMS’ & HYDRO ELECTRIC PLANTS can DESTROY THE ENVIRONMENT! (I do not belong to any of these states). OR else it will not be RIGHT TO ASK THEM NOT TO BUILD! The Central Electricity Grid can be improved with more power plants using all the different resources from other states. WE are sure OTHER STATES will surely OBLIGE for the welfare of other INDIANS. Also, if ONE WANTS TO THINKS SELFISH (UN-PATROTIC) ONE thing to be noted is that THIS IS IN THE INTEREST OF ALL THE STATES OF INDIA. As FLOODS & DESTRUCTION in the Himalayas will reach THEM TOO SOON!
If WE have an IOTA of RESPECT to Him (LORD SHIVA / MOTHER NATURE) & REMORSE we will PLANT thousands of TREES on the denuded hills behind the TEMPLE & the mountains around, we will not allow any CONSTRUCTION or BAZAAR within minimum 500 meters of the TEMPLE on ALL SIDES. The RIVER side has to be protected. No rampant hotel construction. Alternate accommodation has to be in the form of tents only. No 5 Star, 3 Star Hotels!! If you want to go on a PILGRIMAGE you must be ECO FRIENDLY & learn to live with BASIC AMENITIES. Think whether the pilgrims should not have been trekking to reach mountain temples. OR ELSE ON WHAT FACE CAN YOU CALL IT PILGRIMAGE?
WHY DO YOU THINK ALL THE FAMOUS TEMPLES ARE ON MOUNTAINS WHERE IT IS DIFFICULTY TO ACCESS? IT IS SO BECAUSE GOD WANTED US HUMANS TO SEE THE MIGHT OF NATURE, FACE DIFFICULTIES GOING TO SEE HIM, TO FORGET THE OUTSIDE WORLD, TO SEE THE NATURE, RESPECT IT WHICH THERE BY IS LIKE RESPECTING HIM!
ALSO THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO LEARN TO MANAGE THE PILIGRIMAGES. THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HAS TO TAKE THE INCENTIVES TO APPROACH, TRAIN, GIVE FINANCIAL HELP WHERE REQUIRED. SOME OF THE STATES ARE VERY WELL VERSED IN THIS – TIRUPATHI, SABRIMALA, MAHA KUMBA MELA etc. Their EXPERTISE l & experience can be used to TRAIN OTHERS who has not such SYSTEM IN PLACE. Why take just the example from Saudi how well the conduct - (they do not have even 25% of the brains Indians have. YES, but they have the WILL POWER, MONEY & MOST IMPORTANTLY LOVE FOR THEIR PEOPLES LIFE not like us Indians)
We are amazed to hear the Chief of National Disaster management body, Mr. Reddy in the TV yesterday. He has squarely blamed the Department Meteorology & prided himself & his team for the excellent relief work that has taken place. Nothing can be more SHAMEFULL than this apex body who had to GET SATELLITE TELEPHONE from Congo to MEET the EMERGENCY. This body, of which none other than the PM is the head, has done nothing after it was formed except doling out money to the states. That too based on POLITICAL CONSIDERATION rather than STUDING the need. Now everyone is shouting hoarse not to politicize this issue. This apex body HEADED by a civilian did not think it necessary in co-opting the representatives of the Army, Navy or the Air Force (like Chief Engineer, The Signal Officer in Chief, The Air marshal in charge of Transport wing etc). The public should know & realise that none of these wings are provided even a penny to procure special equipment for meeting such contingency. That they are able to manage with whatever they have is in itself speaks volume of their ingenuity & DEDICATION. It was reported around 700 Crores are allotted every year & this is dished out by this apex body as per their whims & fancies rather than on a SCIENTIFIC basis. Had these funds been provided to the Armed Forces, they would have KEPT READY the needed MATERIALS based on their PAST EXPERIENCE in dealing with such calamity. The rope bridges, ladder bridges etc etc etc. These could have been kept ready to use rather than to make them from scratch with the available resources with ITBP & the Army. The executive chief of this apex body blames the CAG that his assessment is flawed. We do not think this man had even gone through the audit report with the seriousness it deserved & took corrective action in time. These babus sitting in their AC rooms in Delhi & drawing a flat salary month after month doing nothing tangible or worthwhile must be made accountable. To top it all the PM after doing an aerial survey (prominently shown in TV every 10 minutes for days on end) sanctions Rs1000/ crores! If they cannot even estimate the extent of damage what is the use undertaking such a wasteful exercise. These same people were saying that the death will be around 500 then. Even a Donkey would have realized that the death will be more than 10,000 – the ACTUAL FIGURE WILL NEVER BE KNOWN, AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!
Why no one is questioning the reliability of ISRO & its satellites? Why were they not able to track this rough weather to alert these devotees?
WE FEEL AS THE ARMY HAS ALWAYS & WILL BE ALWAYS RUSHING TO THE MANANGE THE NATIONAL CALAMITIES, THE NATIONAL DISASTER BODY SHOULD BE UNDER THEM. THEY HAVE THE ‘’’’’‘’’PATROTISM’’’’’’’’’’, EXPERIENCE, WILL POWER, HEART TO WORK WITHOUT ANY SELFISH INTEREST, EXPECTING NOTHING EXTRA. IT SHOULD BE FOOLISH TO GIVE THIS POSITION TO SOME CIVILIAN – BABU SITTING IN A AIRCONDITION ROOM IN DELHI WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE GROUND REALITY OR THE PAST EXEPIERNCE OR NOR GOING TO GET EXPOSED TO THE GROUND REALITIES IN FUTURE CALAMILTIES. YES, OF COURSE THE PM, THE REPRESITIVES OF STATES & POLITICAL PARTIES SHOULD BE INCLUDED INTO THIS AS ‘ADVISORS’ WHO CAN GIVE THEM NEEDED INFORMATION & HELP!
The Holy shrines of CHAR DHAM are passing through the difficult phases in the history of mankind. Let one & all desist from all sorts of politics, clear ourselves away from all political parties & try to help the administration & system to function & recreate the Shrines after clearing the debris & bring back the stranded to a safer base and give a decent mass cremation to all the unfortunates who are deceased!
Let us all DEVOTE at least ONE MINUTE every DAY for the rest of our lives pray for the people who are dead, donate what we can. YES, but do not donate to THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT FUNDS, as it will disappear in some SCAM!
