Here is some interesting information about the film "Teesri Kasam"
When Shailendra read Fanishwarnath Renu's short story "Maare gaye gulfam urfe teesri kasam", he fell for it and decided to make a film on it. Renu agreed to write dialogue and Nabendu Ghosh wrote its script.
Initially planned as a low budget film, he signed Basu Bhattacharya, who was then assisting Bimal Roy during the making of Madhumati, to direct his film. He then signed Subrato Mishra, who was Satyajit Ray's photographer, as his cinematographer.
He had Meena Kumari in mind as the heroine and, being a truly low budget film, he thought of - hold your breath - Mehmood as the hero. He had been a success with "Parvarish" !
The heroine then got replaced by Nutan for a while (though she couldn't dance for nuts) Her selection was probably influenced by the fact that Bimal Roy was casting her for Sujata and Bandini. Thank God she became pregnant and Monish did not allow her to work !Better sense prevailed and Wahida Rehman came in. Lachhu Maharaj was roped in as the choreographer.
For location shooting, Basu liked Igatpuri, where Madhumati was shot. A "mishap" occured then. Bimal Roy's daughter Rinki ran away with Basu. Shailendra gave them shelter. Bimal Roy got furious and "punished" Shailendra by taking away a song from him for Bandini. That's how Gulzar stepped in for his debut. S D Burman then prevailed upon Bimal Roy to get Shailendra back.
When Shailendra engaged Shankar Jaikishan for music and Hasrat Jaipuri for two of the songs, Raj Kapoor asked him to let him know the story. He liked it so much that he snatched the hero's role. There were only two problems. One, Shailendra knew he could not afford his fees. Also, Raj Kapoor insisted on full fee as advance. Shailendra became nervous. Raj Kapoor then smiled and said that his fees for this film would be only "sawaa rupia"
Shailendra then faced his second problem in Raj Kapoor doing the role. Basu resented, saying Raj Kapoor, himself being a top level but commercial director, would interfere. Raj Kapoor promised not to intervene. He kept that promise till the last, except the climax scene was picturised at a small railway station. He told Basu and Shailendra that the couple must meet and not part. He said the parting would not go down well with the audience and the film might flop. Shailendra, however, did not budge and retained the end as in the original story.
The film took six years to make, with a huge cost overrun. Distributors played hell with Shailendra. He became a recluse, keeping himself locked up in his bungalow "Rimzim" at Khar.
After "Guide's super success, Vijay Anand wanted Shailendra to write all songs of "Jewelthief" He could, however, write only one song:
Rulake gayaa sapna mera"

Episode starts with sweety telling pinky that she never wants to see her again and that she needs to leae. Pinky says fine if this is hat u want. Pinky tells jeet that se will be in the at n he can bring the kids. Sweety tells everyone that the party is not over and that they should eat before going home. As jeet is leaving the man who brought the bike asks him what to do jeet says leave it here but lucky right then says please take it. Then jeet says fine just bring the bike to my house and leave the bike there.
Scene change: sweety comes downstairs n lucky asks her to sit down he tells her that what she did yesterday was not right because she was very rude to pinky but sweety says no as pinky went too over board with the bike and she doesn’t want pinky to act like Rocky’s mother because she is still alive.
Scene change: Ravi n jeet r in the kitchen n they r talking about pinky n sweetys fight. They talk about how pinky was crying all night and that now they should not bother her all day. Just then pinky comes and jeet and Ravi are surprised to see her smiling. Jeet leaves but Ravi says what up n pinky says since it is not her fault she will not say sorry n so she will remain happy and not worry.
Scene change: lucky goes to rocky n asks him if he is okay rocky says he is fine and that he wants the bike his parents will get for him this makes lucky very happy and he says rocky is the best son in the world.

उधर दूसरी तरफ, RSS को बदनाम करने वाली मुल्लों की नाजायज़ औलादें कभी जा के ये नहीं देखतीं कि RSS बिना मीडिया में किसी भी तरह का प्रचार करते हुए कितना बेहतरीन कार्य करता है .असम की बाढ़ हो या फिर गुजरात का भूकंप- RSS के कर्तव्यनिष्ठ स्वयंसेवक सबसे पहले पहुँचते हैं..जब कुछ महीने पहले इलाहाबाद रेलवे स्टेशन पर कुम्भ मेले में गए तीर्थयात्रियों में भगदड़ मची, तो संघ परिवार के कार्यकर्ता उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार और पुलिस के ढीले रवैये के बावजूद रक्त दान करने और बचाव कार्य में सबसे आगे थे.
उत्तराखंड में आई इस भयंकर आपदा के समय भी RSS के स्वयंसेवक लगे हुए हैं बचाव कार्य में ....बीजेपी नेता और उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भगत सिंह कोश्यारी इतने बूढ़े होने पर भी दुर्गम स्थानों तक खुद पैदल गए व्यवस्था का जायजा लेने ....उनकी तो सरकार नहीं है, फिर क्यूँ गए ? क्यूंकि वो भी संघ के स्वयंसेवक रहे हैं और संघ से उन्हें यही शिक्षा मिली है..
उन्हें खबर पड़ी कि 200 से ज़्यादा लोग काफी ऊंचाई पर फंसे हुए हैं जहां अभी कोई राहत नहीं पहुंची है ..उन्होंने फ़ौरन स्वयंसेवकों को कहा कि लोकल लोगों को पैसे आदि देकर वहाँ उन फंसे हुए यात्रियों के खाने-पीने का इंतज़ाम करवाओ क्यूंकि डर ये है कि सरकारी सहायता पहुँचने से पहले कहीं भूख से ही बेचारे न मर जाएँ सारे यात्री..
विदेशों तक से लोग उन्हें फ़ोन कर के आग्रह कर रहे हैं कि सरकार के अधिकारी तो चुप्पी लगा के बैठे हैं, please आप ही हमारे परिवार की मदद कीजिये ..
ये लोगों का विश्वास ही तो है जो सरकार से ज़्यादा संघ के स्वयंसेवकों से उनको आस है.
उधर लाखों करोड़ के घोटाले करने वाली ये खान्ग्रेस पार्टी की सरकार ने उत्तराखंड की इतनी बड़ी आपदा से निपटने के लिए सिर्फ 1000 करोड़ जारी किये हैं..... और उसमे से भी अभी तो सिर्फ 145 करोड़ ही दिए गए हैं....
सच में कुछ भी भला नहीं हो सकता इन हरामियों के राज में.

Oh wow! At first I really wasn't sure where this was going but it had such a great ending. Without even understanding the words I think I really got the point of this video and it is BEAUTIFUL!
Being proud of your country means being happy (and knowledgeable) about the good things and fighting to make it better by also taking RESPONSIBILITY for the bad things. It means ignoring stupid complaints from over-sensitive, culturally-ignorant foreigners while also understanding that outsiders can sometimes see the bad things (that you have learned to look away from) quite simply for exactly what they are and experience the worst parts of your culture and those experiences and complaints ARE valid. This is Patriotism and it's a lesson that the whole world should learn.
The only thing in this video that didn't happen in 5 months was being shot. The star power of Mala Sinha
A Hindi film heroine is all too often seen as arm candy who does her songs and dances and is finally presented to the hero in the end.
What is remarkable about Mala Sinha is that most of her 1960s hits were fuelled by her own star power as much as the heros'. When she acted opposite big stars, she made sure her role was as good as theirs.
If that was not always possible, she didn't mind doing smaller films with lesser names (Aasra, Dillagi). But her character always had to be the crux of the story.
Today, her unforgettable performances (Pyaasa, Phir Subah Hogi, Gumraah), have been relegated to the shade, while her weakness for over-the-top, mawkish melodrama is remembered.
Born a Nepali Christian, the young Mala was a chinky-eyed girl with curly hair and average height. "I was not as good-looking as Madhubala, all I had going for me was talent," she remembers.
With time, she fine-tuned her looks, inspiring Mahesh Bhatt to comment, "She exuded sensuality in Pyaasa." When colour seeped into films, she made the audience sit up, revealing a surprisingly slim new look in films like Aankhen, where she swayed memorably in a figure-hugging, strappy gown to Gairon pe karam apnon pe sitam.
While most of her contemporaries looked old-maidish once they entered the dreaded mid 30s, Mala looked chic in chiffon saris and butterfly blouses in Maryada, where she matched Rajesh Khanna's mannerisms with captivating coquetry in the impish Chupke se dil de de.
Was her role as good as the superstar's? Well, she had a double role and romanced both Rajesh and Raaj Kumar in the film.
Mala began rather humbly in the early 1950s in Bengali films like Roshanara. Soon, she shifted to Mumbai. She made a not-so-princely entry with Badshah (1954).
A lead in Kishore Sahu's Hamlet followed. During Kidar Sharma's Rangeen Raatein (1956), hero Shammi Kapoor's girlfriend, the vivacious Geeta Bali took an unsure Mala Sinha and groomed her.
The spotlight first shone on her in Guru Dutt's Pyaasa (1957). Mala's character had negative shades as she played an ambitious woman who betrays her impoverished poet lover (Guru Dutt) for a millionaire publisher (Rehman). Yet Mala won the audience. Her trump card was her ability to emote with her pain-heavy eyes despite being mute about her remorse.
Mala soon made the grade from promising newcomer to star when she signed three films with a biggie like Raj Kapoor: Parvarish (1958), Phir Subah Hogi (1958) and Main Nashe Mein Hoon (1959).
Based on Fyodor Dostoyevski's Crime And Punishment, the stark Phir Subah Hogi showcases Mala in a performance that's eye-openingly subtle. In latter years, however, Mala Sinha sacrificed subtlety for melodrama but she had no regrets --- it paid her rich dividends.
In 1959, Mala had, on one hand the merry Dev Anand musical Love Marriage; while at the other end of the spectrum was her role in B R Chopra's Dhool Ka Phool. In Yash Chopra's debut directorial venture, Dhool Ka Phool, Mala Sinha again had a dark-shaded role of a woman who abandons her illegitimate child.
A trio of hits in 1962 --- Anpadh, Hariyali Aur Raasta and Dil Tera Deewana --- preceded her career best, B R Chopra's Gumraah (1963). She essayed the role of a woman forced by circumstances to marry her sister's widower (Ashok Kumar), but is tormented by the presence of her ex-lover (Sunil Dutt). Mala made her character's dilemma over whether to succumb to an extramarital affair seem identifiable and human.
Mala next had a huge hit as a village belle in Himalaya Ki God Mein (1965), though her performance seems contrived today.
Strong, women-oriented roles were known as her forte. Guru Dutt cast Mala in an author-backed role (as a working woman pinning her hopes on a hopeless romance), in his production, Baharen Phir Bhi Aayegi. When he passed away, the film was reshot with Dharmendra in the lead.
Interestingly, Mala Sinha did three films each with three of the biggest banners of her times: B R Chopra's Dhool Ka Phool, Dharamputra and Gumraah; Vijay Bhatt's Hariyali Aur Raasta, Himalaya Ki God Mein and Holi Aayee Re and Ramanand Sagar's Aankhen, Geet and Lalkaar.
But since playing the central role was a major motivating factor for Mala Sinha, she also worked in several films with upcoming stars like Dharmendra (Anpadh), Manoj Kumar (Hariyali), Sanjay Khan (Dillagi) and Amitabh Bachchan (Sanjog), besides doing 10 films with Biswajeet.
She is said to have refused a fill-the-bill role in Ram Aur Shyam opposite a stalwart like Dilip Kumar.
To Mala's credit, she could shoulder hits like Anpadh, Aasra and Do Kaliyan, on her own slender shoulders.
Even after she married Nepali actor C P Lohani (with whom she had done the Nepalese film, Maiti Ghar) in 1968, she had a huge success playing a Japanese girl in Aankhen.
But after Mala gave birth to daughter Pratibha, her career began to wane. Subsequently, she paired with Rajesh Khanna in Maryada and won accolades for her moving performance as Sanjeev Kumar's grey-haired wife in Zindagi. She did do some character roles. But after Khel in 1992, has stayed away from the arc lights.
Mala Sinha's marriage was a long-distance affair --- she lived in Mumbai, her husband in Kathmandu --- but it has lasted 34 years. Though Mala evinced as much interest in her daughter Pratibha's career as her father did in her career, she was unable to achieve the same success for her daughter.
Today, Mala, who is heavily into religion, lives in a multi-storeyed bungalow at Bandra. The sprawling bungalow a testimony to the huge stardom that was once hers.Dinesh Raheja
