In 1576, the famous battle of Haldighati was fought with 20,000 Rajputs against a Mughal army of 80,000 men commanded by Raja Man Singh. The battle was fierce though indecisive, to the Mughal army's astonishment. Maharana Pratap's army was not defeated but Maharana Pratap was surrounded by Mughal soldiers. It is said that at this point, his estranged brother, Shakti Singh, appeared and saved the Rana's life. Please hear me; I am Mariam Zamani @ Jodhaa Bai speaking from my grave in Fatehpur Sikri. I turned in my grave and have woken up in pain on hearing the falsehood being propagated by the Film Director, Gorwarikar, and many dehumanized T.V. anchors. Surprisingly Gowarikar has projected me as a lovelorn consort of Emperor Akbar. But truth is altogether different. Akbar had multiple wives and nearly 5000 beautiful women in his harem, as pointed by that acclaimed historian, Vincent Smith. Please listen to my painful story which I am narrating today after being made to turn in my grave by Gowarikar. If you have a heart, you will be able to hear my heart rending sobs, too.
Born as a Hindu princess, I was proud daughter of the Rajput Raja Bharmal of Aamer and my real name is Heera Kanwar. After I was married off to Akbar by my helpless father as the price paid for saving his kingdom, I was converted to Islam and re-named as Mariam Zamani. And was buried here after death in this every graveyard of Fatehpur Sikri, the capital of King Akbar. My helpless father, my coward father, could not save me from the clutches of that very King Akbar who had a roving eye for beautiful girls, anywhere and everywhere. I too was very beautiful and that is what pushed me, a child bride of 13 years, into his harem as Mariam Zamani! That was how I, a Rajput princess became a helpless pawn in that “political deal” between the powerful and the weak and the oppressor and the oppressed - I mean the Mughal King Akbar and my father Raja Bharmal of the not-so-powerful kingdom of Aamer. The film director and T.V. anchors are liars. They have concealed these true facts.
That is my true story, the story of an unfortunate child bride, a Rajput princess. There was no love between me and Akbar. It was Akbar’s lust and my beautiful body.
Pure and simple sexploitation and nothing more. No one knows why the Film director Gowarikar and anchors of television channels are trying to befool the gullible Indians by
projecting my ‘forced marriage’ with Akbar, sort of a “ransom contract” between the powerful and the weak, as a great love story. How could a king like Akbar love me and me alone, when he had multiple wives and thousands of captive concubines?
Only some dim-wits can call it a love story! Please hear me; I am Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Bai @ Mariam Zamani, sobbing here in the graveyard of Fatehpur Sikri where I was dumped after my death.
I am shocked that the so-called ‘Research Team’ of the clever film Director Gowarikar did not read what Vincent Smith has written about Akbar’s notorious harem overflowing with women and dainty girls. Why did they not read what Akbar’s chief hack, Abul Fazal, has written in AIN-E AKBARI about the condition of Akbar’s infamous harem. How is it that in this Year of the Girl Child no television channel, no film director of India, has the guts to speak about the fate of thousands of helpless women, princesses as well as commoners, trapped in the horrid harems of Akbar and several other Mughal kings? Why this conspiracy of silence? Why do they want to project lecherous kings like Akbar as Great Emperors by weaving yarns about their non-existent love and lustful lives? Perhaps it is the jingle of money which has made them insensitive to the misery of thousands of helpless women trapped in Moghul harems! But why so much love for money? Why should one try to earn money by purveying utter falsehood? I am indeed in great pain on seeing all this. Come, listen to me and hear my wails. I am Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Bai, Bharmal’s daughter Heera Kanwar, buried as Mariam Zamani here in Fatehpur Sikri.
My brave mother protested and cried when I was being sold into slavery of Akbar by my father for protecting his kingship - you might call him a coward which perhaps he was. But he was helpless, too. For days my mother wept and wept and wept. Ultimately she stopped speaking with my father and refused to acknowledge him as her husband. That was indeed my loving mother, my heart-broken Maa.
I am speaking from the graveyard of Fatehpur Sikri. How is it that no film maker, no film director, no TV channel has the courage to depict truth, speak out truth and make movies on the plight of those helpless women, thousands of them, kept as sex slaves in the harem of Akbar and harems of many other Mughal kings, of their Viziers and hangers on ? May I know the reasons for this skullduggery? I know, no film wallah, no T.V. anchor, will reply to my inconvenient questions. Yet, I must speak in great pain today from this wind-blown graveyard of Fatehpur Sikri. Please lend me your ears for a while; please lend me your aching heart for a while. I beseech you. I am Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Bai.
In this forlorn graveyard thousands of helpless women victims of Mughal rulers are buried, mostly Hindus. But there are some Muslim girls, too. All of us have the same story of misery, a lifetime spent in loveless harems of lecherous kings. I am sure the unfortunate Muslim women buried here by my side will also sit up and ask on the Day of Judgment what was their fault for which they thrown into the harem of a debauche king.
I am Jodhaa Bai @ Mariam Zamani speaking from my grave in Fatehpur Sikri. I have turned in my grave because of the pain inflicted on me by a film director who has painted me as a lovelorn queen – something which I never was. Please lend me your ears and listen to my monologue!

1 ) In India, with 80% Hindu population, and the only homeland of Hindus in the world, the birthdays of great sons of the soil, Shri Ram and Shri Krishna, are not compulsory central government holidays, while the birthday of Saudi Arabia born prophet Mohammad and both the Birth and crucification day of Bethlehem born Jesus, are compulsory holidays throughout India. This seems in sync with the secular hypothesis that Ram and Krishna are imaginary comic characters while Mohammad and Jesus are actual historical characters. There are only 2 Hindu holidays Out of compulsory 14, in contrast to 4 Muslim ones.

2) The Constitution of India enables the government to take control of Hindu temples and trusts and appoint its nominees in their controlling body and even control its funds. The government doesn't have this privilege for the mosques or churches. The government cannot interfere in the functioning of the mosques, madarsas and any minority institutions even if they receive government aid, which is taxpayers' money. The minority institutions are not bound to comply with the Right to Education Act either. This can be seen as a lighter version of Pakistan and Bangladeshs' enemy property laws which enable their governments to confiscate the properties of Hindus by declaring them enemy properties.

3) Everyone knows that India doesn't have uniform civil code. Indian Muslim males are legally allowed to have up to 4 wives at a time, and can divorce them by saying 'Talaaq' thrice, in compliance with Sharia law.
Hindus and Christians have to follow proper court procedures to file for divorce. The women right activists who organise 'slut-walks' to celebrate their 'rights' and advocate girls visiting pubs, do not speak on this matter.
Shah Bano case stands as a glaring example of how secularism is a constitutionally prescribed drug meant only for Hindus, not for minorities.

4) Prayagraj, one of the holiest pilgrimages of Hindus, is Called Allahabad. Kashi, Ayodhya and Mathura, each of these 3 holy sites has been desecrated and,, yet not fully restored. The signboards of Aurangzeb road in Delhi stand as the testimony to India's slavery that Indian secularism celebrates so profusely. In 2007, over 1 lakh Indian Muslims paid homage to Aurangzeb's tomb on his 300th anniversary, that's when Aurangzeb is known to be the perpetrator of the largest Hindu genocide ever. Aurangzeb had even got Guru Teg Bahadur beheaded in his court for his refusal to convert to Islam.

5) An instance of Indian secularism is the 1978 directive to NCERT which instructs it to erase all medieval history which paints a picture of clash between native Hindus and invading Muslims in that era. Consequently, we have a chapter each from Akbar to Aurangzeb, but, Shivaji and Maharana Pratap are squeezed into a paragraph each in history books. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, discredited Aryan Invasion Theory is still taught in Indian schools. The history books do not cover the Mahabharata despite a plethora of archaelogical evidence available to conclusively establish its historicity.

6) The Archaelogical Survey of India in its annual report of
1924-25 published a long list of Hindu temples demolished during Islamic rule. Sita Ram Goel, Arun Shourie and others have published a book after conducting research and they've given a 64 page long district-wise list of Islamic monuments which were constructed by demolishing Hindu temples.
This list in the book, "Hindu Temples - What happened to them!" includes around 2000+ temples and gives in most cases, the year of construction of those structures also.
Even in Kashmir, hundreds of temples, small and large, have been desecrated over during the exodus of Hindus in early '90s. The same, however, is a non-issue in larger secular polity. It's continued unabated in whichever time or space, Hindus have become weak.

7) From Ram Mandir to Ram Setu and to Bhagwad Geeta, all have been dragged into Indian courts. India is the only country in the world where the faith of 100 Crore people is humiliated. It'd be silly to look for parallels where in a Muslim majority country, Quran or the prophet, or in a Christian majority country, Bible or the Christ, could be dragged into a court of law.
In India, the Central government filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court suggesting that Ram never existed. In the same country, Christian missionaries openly preach about Hindus' false and 'characterless' gods, and so do Islamic missionaries like Zakir Naik, but, the tag of 'hate-monger' has been attributed to Hindu right wing by secular luminaries in media and otherwise.

8) There are numerous government schemes which are run exclusively for the benefit of minorities at the expense of taxpayers money, despite an apparent prohibition to the same in the constitution. Pashchim Banga government paying monthly stipend to all the Imams of all the mosques in the state is a glaring example of this. The same is not extended to Hindu pujaris. The Haj subsidy, against which the Supreme Court finally ordered, which had been running since Independence even when no other country, not even Pakistan offers it, is another example.

Off late, even the practice of lighting a lamp has been criticised as 'unislamic.' A litigation was filed in Gujarat high court for inaugurating a room by breaking a coconut for its being a Hindu (not Secular).
A case was lodged in Chennai High Court to prohibit the employees celebrating festivals in office space.
The beast of secular fanaticism has gone wilder over the years, and if not us, posterity will have to bear the brunt of our callous ignorance.

pauri garhwal is a small hill station in uttrakhand...
i was going to dehradun from pauri in my brand new scooter.....
after traveling a few kilometers. i saw a very old man with a herd ,on the edge of the road, holding a stick in his hand asking me for a lift.... I stopped and asked " tauji kahan jana h"
he asked me to drop him a few kilometers ahead near some shop... so I asked him to sit....
he sat and we were ready to go,
so I started the scooter but it won't start.... I gave it another shot but koi fayda nhi...i kicked d scooter many tyms but all in vain..so I asked d old man to step off d scooter and kicked it once more but to my surprise it started . .nyways ,I ignored dis misbehaviour of my bajaj chetak...and decided to proceed further ...
to hum dono baithe aur chal pade..thoda door chal k maine us aadmi se pucha ki aapko kahan pe utarna h... but he didn't reply..
I asked him again but no reply....
mujhe laga shayad wo thoda uncha sunte honge so I shouted this tym "tauji kahan pe utarna h"..... but again no reply
I turned back to look but there was no one on d back seat...ek achha bhala aadmi mere piche se gayab ho gaya tha....
I was shoched, i was frightened.. it was really scary.

हल्दीघाटी की लड़ाई के दौरान महाराणा प्रताप
जी को घायल और बेहोश देख कर झाला मान सिंह ने
महाराणा का मुकुट और शाही प्रतीक चिन्ह पहन
लिया और पूरी मुघलिया सेना को भ्रमित कर दिया,
और पूरी सेना का प्रहार अपने उपर झेला| आखिर में
महाराणा की जान बचाते हुए उन्होंने इस देश पर और
अपनी मात्रभूमि पर १८ जून १५७६ (18 june 1576) अपने
"प्राण न्योछावर" कर दिए| इन्ही के बलिदान के कारण
महराना प्रताप स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई जारी रख पाए|
उनके इस साहसिक कार्य को देखकर स्वयं
महाराणा प्रताप ने
झाला राजपूतो को रना की उपाधि से सम्मानित
किया ,,,,वर्तमान समय में झाला के वंशज आज
भी महाराणा के द्वारा दिया गया शाही चिन्ह
अपने काट पर पहनते हैं| हम झाला मान सिंह
की वीरता और बहादुरी को नमन करते हैं| सिर्फ राजपूत
ही इस तरह की वीरता का प्रदर्शन कर सकते हैं|
पूरे राजपूत समाज को झाला मान सिंह जी पर गर्व है|
हम भगवान् के शुक्रगुज़ार जो उन्होंने इस महान कुल में जन्म
दिया| हमें गर्व है हमारे राजपूत होने पर| शायद
ही संसार में कोई ऐसा कुल होगा जहा इतने महान
लोगो ने जन्मा लिया हो|
Rana Pratap's devoted chief Jhala Man Singh, who

courage by sacrificing his life to save the life of
Pratap for his country.
