Please be kind and don't post any negative comments. I have danced worse than anyone in the universe including aliens. This is my first ever video that I made exactly seven years ago. After that I realized that I should stay behind the camera not in front of it. But please hear the story behind this video.
Digital Handy-cams that can fit in your hands entered into India in 2005, I guess I am one of the persons who purchased it immediately upon its initial arrival. I knew nothing about editing, sound effects or any form of film-making but I thought I can do something with this camera. I just stayed a weekend at FTII, Pune and observed how they are shooting with Marriage cameras (Big size DV Panasonic and Sony cameras with cassettes were called Marriage cameras in those days) and editing on Avid. I thought I can do something similar.
I had to spend Rs.43,000 for my camera which is like more than 2 lakhs as per current rupee value. I took a personal loan and purchased it although my salary was very less at that time. After purchasing, I experimented shooting some conversations with the help of some friends. Remember that those days were not like these days. There was no youtube. There was not enough information available on the Internet. I had to learn all by my own by experimenting.
I initially thought of making a one hour film as I did not have enough knowledge on how much effort it requires. Then I thought let me do some editing first and may be shooting some footage for a song will help me in learning how to edit. That's how I started shooting for this song. As I was looking much better than my friends in appearance-wise ( ;) ) I acted in this song. Although this song was ready by June, 2006, I didn't know that there is a website exists called youtube. Actually, no one knows. It was not at all popular. It is in October, when I knew that there is a video sharing website and I uploaded the video on my birthday which is October 20. At that time, I did not know how much youtube will become famous. There was not even a single Telugu video either a Telugu short film or a Telugu music video on youtube at that time.
And When I uploaded the video, I did not know that I will have to face a lot of criticism in the coming years for this video. But I still like it. After all, it's my first video.

After winning the precious title, the very talented choreographer was also witnessed choreographing Yana Gupts in Season 4 of Dancing with the stars, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 and with Isha Sharwani in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 5. After his debut movie ABCD, Salman is at present rocking the dance floors with the very attractive Drashti Dhami in Colors dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Dancing with the Stars.
Birthdays are supposed to be the most awaited day of the year, an occasion to rejoice and celebrate. But this year, Salman had a busy day celebrating his birthday on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa by doing what he is best at i.e working which in his case was dance!
Recalling his childhood birthday memory, Salman says, "You won't believe but I have failed to remember my birthday four times while growing up. And later, next day, on realizing this I used to cry a lot. (Laughs)."
But this year it was something out of the routine. Salman was delighted with a cake-cutting on the set with big hugs from all the three judges- Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karan Johar and Remo Dsouza.
Salman tells us about his idea for a perfect birthday, "A perfect birthday according to me is spending half a day at the mosque in prayers, by staying disconnected with the world and treating the needful. And then later, I like to spend a peaceful time with my family and friends at dinner."
He is overwhelmed with the birthday wishes that have poured in, "It's the prayers and love of each and every fan of mine that I work this hard for. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank everyone for being there for me. I'm really grateful for all the love and support that I've been receiving so far. All your tweets and mails turned my day into an ideal birthday. Thank you so much!"

Madhuri Dixit rescues seven puppies
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit Nene interrupted the shoot of the sixth season of "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa" to rescue seven puppies who were struggling for their lives.
The 46-year-old was at Filmistan Studio Sunday with her husband Shriram Nene for the shoot of her show when she saw seven puppies drenched from the previous night's rain.
Madhuri interrupted the shoot, and she along with Nene and the show's director Saahil Chhabria, immediately contacted PETA for help and stayed with the puppies until help arrived, said a statement.
"It's been raining cats and dogs and many puppies and kittens are now in need of good homes. Madhuri Dixit, Dr Nene and Saahil Chhabria's kind deed will inspire many to come forward to help animals in distress," said PETA India's Sachin Bangera.
