Dil Ki Nazar Se … Khoobsurat 12th June 2013 Episode 78
The episode begins with Prerna and Pallavi making preparations. Rahul comes, looks at Prerna and ignores her and walks away. Prerna notices this, tries to make conversation with Rahul but Rahul tells her off. He tells her to do whatever she wants as she is more intelligent than him. Aradhya and Bharti both observe this. Just then Madhav enters, and Pallavi , Rahul and Prerna switch their attention to them. Rahul tells them all preparations are done and asks them to get ready.
Aradhya is in her room. She is thinking of her family being unhappy with her decision to stay with Madhav. Madhav comes in and shows her the suit and sari Dadi gave for Madhav and Aradhya respectively. Aradhya is lost in thoughts, Madhav asks her what’s wrong. She says how can they be happy together if their parents are unhappy with this relationship. Madhav tells her they worry because they care, once they realize they are happy together they will be happy. Aradhya makes him promise that her parents will come to the party.
The scene then begins with Brij telling Bharti to stop her stubbornness
Bharti then tells Brij why it is her children who have to suffer. She told him she warned him Prerna should not join work. Bharti then says if Prerna and Rahul have so much problems now, what will happen later? And about Madhav, she doesn’t think Aradhya is right for him.
Aradhya knocks on the door. She tells her that she genuinely loves Madhav and wants Bharti to accept her. She touches Bharti’s feet, and she gives her ashirwaad. Then Aradhya hugs Bharti.
Then the scene shifts to Aradhya and Madhav. Aradhya wears a sari and Madhav is amazed, because she looks so good. Both of them compliment each other. Aradhya gets ready, they exchange eye locks and a background music plays.
Pallavi interrupts the moment and asks them to come downstairs.
They go downstairs. Everyone is happy to see them. Prerna and Rahul come together, but Aradhya can sense the tension. Menka and Lalit come to the party. Aradhya is happy to see them . There is tension between the families but they say they will have to bow down in front of their wish.
Pallavi announces that this party is celebrated for Aradhya and Madhav’s happy married life. So they cut the cake. Then everyone forces Madhav to sing.
Madhav sings, Aradhya and Madhav share a few romantic moments. Prerna tries putting a hand on Rahul’s hand but he moves it away. Aradhya notices this, and goes to Rahul.
She tells Rahul, that she didn’t expect this from Rahul who was the same person who understood Prerna’s true love. But, Rahul tells her that Prerna is always trying to make him look inferior. Aradhya tells him , he will understand Prerna’s love once he puts his ego aside.

Rahul and Madhav get up and they leave – eye lock at the door with both in tears. Aradhya sits down in front of the judge and remembers past events too. She is given papers to signs, there are tears flowing down her eyes and she remembers Dadi saying that she is in love with Madhav. Lalit asks her to sign and is hesitating picking up the pen. Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat on Sony TV has been generating low TRP's consistently pre IPL as well as post IPL. The show was supposed to go off air in June but now the fans can see the show for two more months.
A very reliable source informed us, "Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production's Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat which was supposed to go off-air in June has got an extension till August end this year and there will be lots of changes in the story line with respect to the TRP's."
However, soon after that in August end, Khoobsurat will go off-air, and Optimystix's Saas Bina Sasural 2 will replace it.

Finally aaru tells that she is leaving in the evening and madhu is sad. However, she asks madhu to give her and promise to give her back her old “Ehsaas”. She says she wasnt the old ehsaas who was energetic, vibrant and cheerful. Madhu says he will try but aaru says she wants a confirmed promise and he gives one. She then calls Menka asking if she could come and take her from the Periwals in the evening. After that she leaves the room asking madhu to rest. Song “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” from the movie with same name is played in background. Its evening and Lalit and Menka are there to take aaru. Aaru takes blessings from all and finally goes to dadi who doesnt know that aaru is leaving. Dadi asks abt madhu and she tells he is fine and finally tells that she is leaving to her house for a few days. Dadi is very sad and asks if she is going for a few days or forever.

Why a Press Conference just to announce a new show?
It has been quite some time now that rumors have started about Amitabh Bachchan working with Sony on a show. There have been speculations about 2 things – one, is that Oh My God, Amitabh Bachchan is doing another show for Sony and second is, Oh My God, is it a fiction show? We wanted to put a full stop to all the rumors and speculations and that is the reason we had a Press conference for Amitabh Bachchan's show.
Had you planned it since long? When do we get to know more details of the show?
It has been planned for some time now. When the time is right we will tell everyone about what the show is all about. If we reveal everything now, then what is the fun?
How did this show happen? Whose idea was it?
Endemol (the production house) approached Mr. Bachchan who heard the concept, like it and believed in it. Then they approached Anurag Kashyap as the Director and then when he too agreed to come on board they approached us and we happily agreed. Mr. Bachchan was already convinced and thus he was already on board when they came to us.
How is it working with Mr. Bachchan?
As Anurag too has said Mr. Bachchan is very demanding and that he has to be. He always wants to be 100% sure and clear about all things. It he was not ready, he would not be sitting here. And as Mr. Bachchan said rightly that he is ready to work long hours, let me tell you that even for KBC he sometimes puts in 18 hours! Mr. Bachchan is the best there is in the business. He is absolutely easy to work with and he just expects everyone who is working with to know their stuff, their work.
Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap is gaining popularity with all kids too liking the show… Was it a conscious decision to showcase his childhood days?
In Maharana Pratap, we had always decided that the focus will be on his younger days since they were his formative years. Those years stood for what he became later. The foundation was laid in those years and not when he was in his 20s or 30s so it became logical to focus on them. However, there is no hard and fast rule to show only the childhood part more, we also plan to show his courageous journey in the later years too. It is not a short journey and we plan to cover all aspects of his life.
It is being said that Dil ki Nazar se Khoobsurat will soon go off air…
About Khoobsurat, I have been hearing about the show not doing well since the day it was launched! The day after it was launched someone asked me whether it is going off air and still it is around till now!
There has been news that Saas Bina Sasuraal Season 2 will soon be back on Sony…
As far as I know, there is nothing finalized about getting Saas Bina Sasural Season 2 back on air. I have nothing to comment on that as yet.

Aaradhya in the car, stuck in traffic, thinking about how to express her love for Madhav
Aaradhya’s mom calls and asks her the reason for not signing the papers when Aaradhya replies that she’s going to meet her Prince Charming and she’ll talk to her later.
Aaradhya reaches the office, where she’s told that Madhav is in a meeting
Pallavi and Dadi are rejoicing over the success of their plan
Dadi calls up Aaradhya to check on the progress, and she tells her to gatecrash the meeting and express her feelings
Aaradhya catches a pune and asks him to call Madhav out, when she finds out that he’s testing a new show and doesn’t want to be disturbed.
Aaradhya sees the RJ inside the studio and remembers how she fell in love with Ehsaas-through the radio.
Aaradhya goes in and tells the RJ that she’s Ehsaas’ wife and she needs to tell him something that is of extreme importance.
Madhav, Rahul and the dude are worried about why is there no sound, when Aaradhya voice reverberates. She say Ehsaas.

As Aaradhya confesses her love, Madhav comes in and says one word- Aaradhya.

Madhav refuses to return to the radio as Ehsaas, but Aardhya asks him to do it for her
He finally removes her hand that was covering the microphone and professes his undying love and devotion to her- and the radio station

Precap: Madhav-Aaradhya enter the house officially and take blessings from the elders. As they touch Bharti’s feet, she doesn’t extend her hand out to bless them. All are surprised.

Dil Ki Nazar se Khoobsurat to wrap up in two months and will make way for the next season of Saas Bina Sasural.
Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat on Sony TV has been generating low TRP's consistently pre IPL as well as post IPL. The show was supposed to go off air in June but now the fans can see the show for two more months.
A very reliable source informed us, "Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production's Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat which was supposed to go off-air in June has got an extension till August end this year and there will be lots of changes in the story line with respect to the TRP's."
However, soon after that in August end, Khoobsurat will go off-air, and Optimystix's Saas Bina Sasural 2 will replace it.
Our source also confirmed, "Aishwarya Sakhuja will be again seen as the female protagonist in Saas Bina Sasural 2 and also the show has bagged the 7.30 pm slot."
We contacted Optimystix's Vipul D Shah but he refused to comment. Even Sumeet Mittal did not revert to our text messages.
When we asked Aishwarya Sakhuja she said, "I cannot comment on anything as of now, as I haven't signed anything till date."

Khoobsurat started out as a fairy tale based on Beauty and the Beast. The beauty Aradhya wanted to marry a handsome prince but ended up with an ugly looking Madhav (Rohit Khurana). He loved her, she hated him. However, like the fable, we thought eventually Madhav will win her over with his caring nature. Three months into the show, there is a drastic change in the track and it’s become a love triangle.
Priti Amin made an entry as Madhav’s aka radio jockey Ehsaas’s fan. With Madhav and Aradhya’s marriage on the rocks, the situation was ripe for another romance. Producer Sumeet Mittal says he brought in Priti’s character to make the story peppy. “Her character is full of life and bubbly – exactly what Soumya’s character was before marriage,” he adds. However, looks like the new angle isn’t working as speculation is rife that the serial is likely to go off air!
