The Episode starts with Chhan Chhan thinking where did Manav go without telling her. She gets a note on her side table. She reads it, she imagines Manav in the room. He writes you might be missing me, but he had to go for some rituals. He writes I will come back soon, wait for me, then we will start our love story. She smiles reading the letter. She says I m waiting for you, come soon. She thinks Ranjana and Sanjana got the punishment because of her.Ranjana and Sanjana are making the rotis in the kitchen. She says the mistake was Chhan Chhan’s and we are bearing the punishment. Chhan Chhan comes in a saree and she says shall I help you. Ranjana says Chhan Chhan is looking very good in the saree. Chhan Chhan says I m not feeling good, she says her saree border is not fixing properly. Ranjana helps her. Chhan Chhan says she will make the rotis. Ranjana says let it be, we will do it. Chhan Chhan apologizes to them. She says I will make the 300 rotis. Chhan Chhan asks them to teach them how to make rotis. Chhan Chhan says I did not cook at home, but if you teach me, I will learn.Chhan Chhan gets a call and leaves from the kitchen. Manav calls her, she says I m annoyed, why did not you tell me that you had to go. Manav flirts and says some good lines. Chhan Chhan smiles. Chhan Chhan says what you want to say, come to me and say. Chhan Chhan says Ranjana that my Dadi used to make this rotlas. Chhan Chhan tells them an idea of making gthe rotlas with a shortcut. Sanjana says she fears of Umaben, maybe she will punish us again.Chhan Chhan says we are making what she said, then why will we bear punishment. Chhan Chhan asks her did you bring the items. Simple says yes and gives the items to her. Chhan Chhan thanks Simple. Ranjana and Sanjana are waiting for Chhan Chhan in the kitchen.Chhan Chhan brings the roti maker. Ranjana and Sanjana are happy and thanks Chhan Chhan.They brought the rotlas in front of Umaben and she is shocked.Then Sanjana said ChhanChhan helped them.

Chhanchhan Loses What Khushi Earned

Khushi of ISS PYAR KO KYA NAAM DOON, was a strikingly beautiful small-town girl, whreas , chhanchhan is a so modern open-minded girl. But if we compare the two different characters played by the same person i.e Sanaya Irani, we can see that Khushi was much better than Chhanchhan in sudden complex situations. Khushi, being an orthodox small town and little literate girl, dealt with adverse situations so easily, but Chhanchhan inspite of being a so called modern girl often behaves in an absolutely unexpectedly dumb way. When she saw all her sister-in-laws to put the ghunghat on their heads, she keeps standing like a show-piece. She never tries to apprehend what her sister-in-laws may feel on Umaben's (tricky) special treatments on her. But in that place, khushi was concerned with each individual's feelings which gained her extra love and regard from the audience.

Sony TV's Chhanchhan completes 50 episodes
Finally some good news for the fans of Chhanchhan. Your favourite show on Sony Entertainment Television has hit a half century (completed 50 episodes).
The 50th episode, that will be telecast tonight (18 June 2013) will have the entire cast and crew coming together to have a celebration on the sets.
According to our source, "Cakes have been ordered and a get-together has been planned with everyone. Party is definitely in the line for the team with them having achieved such a feat."
Though the show hasn't really done well in terms of TRPs, and has continuously raised eyebrows with its string of controversies. Tellychakkar.com reported exclusively on lead actor Farhan Khan being replaced; his allegations against co star Sanaya Irani, Anuj Sachdev coming in as Farhan’s replacement and more. The last nail on the coffin was Sanaya hitting back and calling Farhan a “liar”.
Anyways, all those are past and we hope that show does good in the coming days. Said Anuj, “I did not have an idea on the show completing 50 episodes, but I am happy for the entire team for their hard work. Since I have yet to reach the sets, I do not know what’s the plan. But yes, I think we will definitely have a celebration. It feels great to be a part of Chhanchhan and hope our journey goes on for long,” he avers.

50 Episodes Complete: A CONGRATULATORY Post!!
Yay! 50 episodes of Chhanchhan completed...feels truly amazing to have reached a milestone...may it reach many more!!
Coming to today's episode: In my opinion the episode today was amazing..it set the base for what is to come...and it was very nice for the PH to start the real story on it's 50th episode...today we all witnessed the gist of what is to come..this is just the beginning of Chhanchhan's life for the many hardships she will go through...I for one cannot wait for this eccentric storyline to unfold..I am positive that it will be one hell of a ride!!

Hearty congratulations to the whole Chhanchhan team...appreciate all the hard work each and every actor has put into bringing life to their character...each actor has made me fall in love with the character they are portraying, be it from Karthik Sarabhai to Kamudi Bhabi to Chhanchhan and Manav, even characters like Uma Ben, Manthan and Ranjana made me some what like them, it is because of their negativity and their touch of spice which creates drama and draws attention!!

Chhanchhan is innocent more than the amount needed

Guys, after watching yesterday's epi, I feel that Chhanchhan, in spite of being a modern girl, is little excessively innocent, she is a grown-up girl and she has not been ever confined within the four walls, right ? Then do not u think that she should have been some-what prudent ? If the new bahu of an orthodow family will get up at 8:30 am, family members are then bound to feel disappointing and perhaps angry, isn't it ? And she has no idea about what she has done Kar di nai bahu subah subah nighty mei karwalo ke samne ajati hain Shouldn't she have set the alarm on 5:30or 6 o clock in the morning to get up earlier and get ready for the very 1st day in her in-laws home ?
I think the story is showing her to b an excessively innocent girl, unaware of the in-laws conspiracies and with time's progress , fighting against Umaben's conspiracies she will turn to be a perfect modern house-wife who will be ready for all buttery as well as adverse situations of life.

Chhanchhan 18th June 2013 Written Update by Amena Hasan
The Episode starts with Manthan asking about Manav. Umaben says he knows his responsibility. Manthan taunts Chhan Chhan saying she is sleeping till now. Umaben takes her side, saying she is from a modern family and does not know about these things. Chhan Chhan wakes up and looks out for Manav. She comes out in the hall in her night dress. Everyone are shocked to see her. Chhan Chhan does not feel her mistake and looks at her clothes. Everyone stare at her. She greets everyone. Babuji gets angry and is spellbound.
Ranjana and Sanjana go to Chhan Chhan and asks her to go from here. Umaben says wow, I did not do anything, but Chhan chhan herself is making mistakes. Chhan Chhan asks Sanjana what happened. She asks about Manav. She asks why did you bring me here. Ranjana says don’t you know what you did. Sanjana says you are wearing a night dress and you came in the hall like this. They tell Chhan Chhan that Manav has not told you about this.
They say Babuji will be very angry. Chhan Chhan says I was looking out for Manav, and I did not know everyone would be in hall at this time. Umaben comes there and looks at Chhan Chhan. She comes and says you came there in a night suit. Umaben smiles and becomes polite towards her. She says its not your mistake, its Ranjana and Sanjana’s mistake. They get shocked. They say we are wearing Saree. Umaben says you should have told Chhan Chhan about our rules. She does not know about our rules. Umaben scolds them. Chhan Chhan is silent and sad. She says I did not know this would happen. Umaben says when I came in my house once, I was making food in the kitchen, and my pallu slipped, and my mother-in-law gave me a big punishment. Chhan Chhan says why, for this. If any mistake happens, you should explain it to them. Umaben says rules are rules, equal for everyone.
Ranjana thinks now it will be fun, when Umaben gives her punishment. Umaben tells Chhan Chhan that I’m with the modern lifestyle, but I don’t know what Babuji will do. Babuji is angry. Manthan talks in favour of Chhan Chhan. Manek says our house has some rules, which she broke. Manthan says yes, Umaben will feel sorry as she is responsible for this marriage. Babuji scolds Manthan saying nothing has changed and nothing will change. A plate slips from Maansi’s hands, and Babuji leaves the table. Umaben says she was afraid of this that Babuji will be angry. She says I will save you from his anger.
Ranjana asks about the punishment, Umaben says if you have done a mistake, you have to bear the punishment. Umaben says you both should have the punishment, Ranjana and Sanjana are shocked. Umaben says my mother-in-law punished me even more strictly. She asks Chhan Chhan to come for breakfast. Umaben leaves. Umaben is happy thinking Chhan Chhan will leave in four days. Chhan Chhan feels sorry for Ranjana and Sanjana.
Chhan Chhan gets her family’s call. All of them talk together. Maithili talks first and asks her how she is. Chhan Chhan says she is fine. Maithili says I m not crying and she cries. Chhan Chhan says if you cry then I.. Karthik talks to her and asks did you sleep well. He asks her to take care. Chhan Chhan says I will take care, you don’t worry. Rushaali talks to Chhan Chhan.
Rushaali says I have designed your room, and we have taken your room. Chhan Chhan says its my room, don’t touch it. Chhan Chhan asks about the dogs. Dadi talks to Chhan Chhan and asks her did the family members meet you well. Chhan Chhan says everyone met me well. Dadi says the first day is special. She asks Chhan Chhan to make friendship with Umaben and not worry if any mistake happens. She says Manav is with you to take care of you. Chhan Chhan thinks where is Manav..

Congratulations Team Chhanchhan for scoring a 50!
Happiness, celebrations and wishes rains on the entire cast and crew of Optymistix's Chhanchhan, as the show is going to complete its journey of 50 episodes tonight. The entire cast and crew is elated to celebrate the moment of joy.
TellyBuzz spoke to Dheeraj Miglani aka Himanshu, who said, "The journey of 50 episodes has been very nice for me and I am happy that the show has completed 50 episodes. I have had some of the sweetest memories with the team on the sets like when we went for a picnic for a shoot. Then there was a scene in which Supriya Pathakji was feeding me and I had to eat a lot and at that time I enjoyed a lot by drinking lots of Mango Lassi and other things."
Wishing that the show goes on to do better, Dheeraj further added, "My best wishes are always with the show and we have to cover a long journey. I wish the show will soon be on top. It's just a beginning as the theme of our show is Chhanchhan – The Modern Bahu. And now begins the journey of Chhanchhan as a bahu. More twist and turns are waiting ahead in the show and Himanshu is yet to be married (laughs)."
Srman Jain aka Rugved, says, "It has been a wonderful journey of 50 episodes. I met wonderful people through the show like Sanaya Irani. She is one of best persons I have ever met in life, who is so sweet and genuine. I keep meeting Mohit Sehgal also who is also a wonderful person. The entire cast and crew is very sweet. I am very happy and we do lots of masti together on the sets; especially with Sanaya. I have spent some of the best times with her on the sets. The Episode starts with Manthan asking about Manav. Umaben says he knows his responsibility. Manthan taunts Chhan Chhan saying she is sleeping till now. Umaben takes her side, saying she is from a modern family and does not know about these things. Chhan Chhan wakes up and looks out for Manav. She comes out in the hall in her night dress. Everyone are shocked to see her. Chhan Chhan does not feel her mistake and looks at her clothes. Everyone stare at her. She greets everyone. Babuji gets angry and is spellbound.
Ranjana and Sanjana go to Chhan Chhan and asks her to go from here. Umaben says wow, I did not do anything, but Chhan chhan herself is making mistakes. Chhan Chhan asks Sanjana what happened. She asks about Manav. She asks why did you bring me here. Ranjana says don’t you know what you did. Sanjana says you are wearing a night dress and you came in the hall like this. They tell Chhan Chhan that Manav has not told you about this.
They say Babuji will be very angry. Chhan Chhan says I was looking out for Manav, and I did not know everyone would be in hall at this time. Umaben comes there and looks at Chhan Chhan. She comes and says you came there in a night suit. Umaben smiles and becomes polite towards her. She says its not your mistake, its Ranjana and Sanjana’s mistake. They get shocked. They say we are wearing Saree. Umaben says you should have told Chhan Chhan about our rules. She does not know about our rules. Umaben scolds them. Chhan Chhan is silent and sad. She says I did not know this would happen. Umaben says when I came in my house once, I was making food in the kitchen, and my pallu slipped, and my mother-in-law gave me a big punishment. Chhan Chhan says why, for this. If any mistake happens, you should explain it to them. Umaben says rules are rules, equal for everyone.
Ranjana thinks now it will be fun, when Umaben gives her punishment. Umaben tells Chhan Chhan that I’m with the modern lifestyle, but I don’t know what Babuji will do. Babuji is angry. Manthan talks in favour of Chhan Chhan. Manek says our house has some rules, which she broke. Manthan says yes, Umaben will feel sorry as she is responsible for this marriage. Babuji scolds Manthan saying nothing has changed and nothing will change. A plate slips from Maansi’s hands, and Babuji leaves the table. Umaben says she was afraid of this that Babuji will be angry. She says I will save you from his anger.
Ranjana asks about the punishment, Umaben says if you have done a mistake, you have to bear the punishment. Umaben says you both should have the punishment, Ranjana and Sanjana are shocked. Umaben says my mother-in-law punished me even more strictly. She asks Chhan Chhan to come for breakfast. Umaben leaves. Umaben is happy thinking Chhan Chhan will leave in four days. Chhan Chhan feels sorry for Ranjana and Sanjana.
Chhan Chhan gets her family’s call. All of them talk together. Maithili talks first and asks her how she is. Chhan Chhan says she is fine. Maithili says I m not crying and she cries. Chhan Chhan says if you cry then I.. Karthik talks to her and asks did you sleep well. He asks her to take care. Chhan Chhan says I will take care, you don’t worry. Rushaali talks to Chhan Chhan.
Rushaali says I have designed your room, and we have taken your room. Chhan Chhan says its my room, don’t touch it. Chhan Chhan asks about the dogs. Dadi talks to Chhan Chhan and asks her did the family members meet you well. Chhan Chhan says everyone met me well. Dadi says the first day is special. She asks Chhan Chhan to make friendship with Umaben and not worry if any mistake happens. She says Manav is with you to take care of you. Chhan Chhan thinks where is Manav..
